Answer: First, Mac HelpMate is not "sold" and it is free for anyone to use. Mac HelpMate Professional Subscribers who use our zero-config screen sharing pay for a service, not a piece of software. Second, Mac Helpmate is defined as a "Mere Aggregation" in the GPL which means it doesn't combine the code or executable address spaces of the tools into a larger program but merely uses each one as a separate command-line tool.
